CDS is administered by the UPSC in India and is conducted twice a year to recruit commissioned officers willing to serve in the armed forces such as army, navy and air force.
NDA and CDS
• Date of notification – 15/5/24
• Last date for submission – 4/6/24
• Date of commencement of exam- 1/9/2024
NDA
• Candidate must be between 16.5 to 19.5 years of age
• Candidate must have completed 12th standard or equivalent from a recognized board
CDS
• Candidate must be between 20 to 24 years of age
• The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
The candidate must apply through an online portal specified by the government of India.
